Happy 4th of July! It was a weird fourth for us, because our area became incorporated and now we can't shoot of fireworks or even sparklers anymore. Without the fireworks, it doesn't feel very festive. If we could at least have sparklers, then that would be a little bit more fun. We had a little fire going, but it still wasn't the same. We could go to a big display, but I don't feel like dealing with the hundreds of thousands of people or the traffic it all creates so late at night. It is realistic to say that 15 minutes of fireworks followed with sitting in traffic for 2 hours just isn't worth it. Here is my layout for the Memory Nest . My son calls the kiddy pool a kitty pool and now is convinced that is what it is called. He wants to bring his stuff cat to it all the time and has some amazing melt downs when he isn't allowed to bring it. I had a lot of fun turning the arrows into fishes instead.
