Here is my layout for the July 30 Color with a twist challenge on the Memory Nest. I really enjoy the colors on this layout. I find them happy and soothing at the same time. It's easy to spot the pop of red in the stitching and a little bit on the top of the page. You can find chevron in the stamp I used and I found a cute cloud that had chevron on it too. I just had to use it! Oh, and I used the frame on that photo to hide a person that was in the background next to the rock. It is such a sweet and simple photo of my husband and daughter, but I couldn't let it be distracted with a random person!
I really dig the colors and I was glad to find the wood paper that isn't brown! It's from Echo Park's Here & Now collection.
I'm always glad to use random bits of scrap papers and ribbons from my stash. The tag was just cut out from white cardstock and then I put some washi tape over it and some letter stickers on top of that. The letters were a brighter green, but I just used a marker to get the darker green I wanted.
I love your layout it's so pretty. Just looking at the layout in whole it's hard to see the ribbon I'm glad you did a close up of it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your mix of papers here- such a pretty layout! I love your take on the challenge, especially your pops of red.
